Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
We went to a timeshare presentation for Stormy Point Village in Branson, MO on 10/16/2016. Scott was our sales person. The reason we chose to purchase this was because Scott promised us that because this company is a VIP we would get access to 10 % of the highest level of vacation properties (which were shown to us on their special computers that when you looked up any property all over the world within the next year) it showed you would be able to get it for a week at the rate of $399.00 total any week of the year. He looked up properties for next February and they were there to book. This is where the scam comes in. Once we received our resort # then we could make a reservation. Went to do this and you can only get hot deals for up to 45 days out. Of course none of the properties were there. Only leftover resorts that nobody wants. We were flat out lied to by Scott Dygeot and would have never purchased this knowing the truth about the company. It isn't that we did not understand what he was saying. We have two other timeshares that we purchased 25 years ago and had never has any problems or have dealt with such deceitful people. This is one hugh scam and we are out around $25,000.00 and expect to receive it all back. It is one big lie and do not trust these people. We were also told that Edward McGee would sell our other properties so that is why this all sounded too good to be true.
