Someone contacted me stating they were a Human Resources contact and did a text message interview in a span of about an hour. Then told me to report on Monday at 8am local time. They explained I would receive a check in the mail to purchase office equipment. I just received a check via fedex for a large amount of $8500. The issuing bank was named Iberiabank. FedEx showed back up and asked that the check be returned to the fedex office. Everything seemed legit but I never spoke to an actual person. It was all text. The number given was not an actual contact number and I looked for these people online but no presence. It all seemed too good to be true.
