I use Twitter daily and I received a message asking if I wanted a “sugar mummy” from Evelyn Matley so me being me- low on funds with a wedding coming up and bills to pay I said yes but I was very cautious because I have seen these stories where you send too much info and you get screwed and it’s your fault for falling for it. So I lied about certain things of my info and gave minimal details and scooted along in messing her. When she sends me a check in my name for 2500 and says to keep $500 and send $2000 to her business partner. That’s when I really knew it was fake but I just want people to be aware that if it seems too good to be true it most likely is. Don’t be fooled.
