Telephone ID came up as Dow Chemical but the person said that she was from Suddenlink Communications and needed to update our Tivo box and to leave box on but turn tv off, a 20 minute update. And since we were loyal customers of Suddenlink and that the other cable companies were stealing their customers she was able to lower of bill of $40 for 24 months. (She knew my name and address and how much my last bill was!) Her supervisor came on and said yes we qualified for the discount but also to receive this discout we would need to send in a one time fee of $249.73 which we will get back in our March, April and May bill. Write this information down, you will need this. Her senior supervisors name, Julia James 747-877-3901. And where to end the check or money order, Cable TV PO Box 16033 Philadelphia PA 16003 (which when i looked the address up, it belongs to an elderly lady). Had to read back the information and when would I mail the check. Said Friday and that she would call back to make sure it was sent and the upgrade would take affect.

Found this was scam going around after i got off the telephone with her.
