We were contacted by them after expressing interest in a certain puppy they were advertising. And lots of communication about which dog we wanted we agreed on the dog and they way it would be shipped to us. We talked about payment which is when the first red flag went up. They wanted us to use prepaid gift cards and send them pictures of them front and back. After hesitation and expressing our worries about being scammed they gave us references of people who had bought a puppy from them in the past and told us of their sound reputation. Their website was also very thorough and very convincing. After we felt better about sending them our money we received a text from them saying one of the cards was unable to be used because “I requested a replacement card” and they were upset. After telling them I didn’t do that and that it would take at least a week to receive a new one they asked me to send a new one with more money on it. But we refused to do that and became more weary of the situation. They assured us however that our dog would be to our home the next day at 10:00 AM and we could resolve the issue moving forward. But as the day went on they replied less and less. Until the day we were supposed to receive our dog. When she didn’t show up I couldn’t say I wasn’t surprised and texted them many many times as well as a few phone calls just to discover they had blocked my number.

These people were skilled and thorough and what they did. And if I didn’t lose $800 I would be impressed with the great lengths they went through.

Iwas trying to buy a German Shepherd puppy. I have been looking for 3 months i was checking the bbb for each site and nothing on this site so i decided to buy a puppy today everything was fine then they wanted me to use zelle, apple pay or amex cards so i did the cards sent them the picture of back and front. before i sent the back i asked about my reciept and how do i know this real. they said send it and they would arange the flight and send me all the paperwork. I then got an email from Safeway Transport and logistics saying they needed me to pay for a carrier due to bad weather and i could rent it and get my money back tomorrow morningwhen they delivered the puppy. I then looked at the bbb and saw a link that other people had this issue and it was a scam. I called the bbb and they told me to call the fedral trade commision. I found that they uswed the cards at elite restuarant equipment in new NJ. Trying to stop the payment.

They said that the puppy had to be paid for in order to beginning with the transportation details, it was $800 in total, $750 for the puppy and $50 for transportation. They gave a bank account to wire transfer the money and it was paid. Then they asked for personal information for the supposed shipping and stated that the puppy need an air conditioned crate and that we would need to pay half the price of the crate and they would pay the other half. $550 was paid and they didn't respond for a day and then said that they had a "family issue" and then told us to pay the other $550. We declined and they were persistent and after a while stopped responding to emails and phone calls.
