I signed up for use of app for 2-3 days for 1 dollar. Then my bank blocked a subscription payment of 39.00 that I did not sign up for but was automatically signed up for by the app. Thankfully, my bank blocked the charge. I contacted them by email and asked them to unsubscribe me immediately. They proceeded to let me know that I had to unsubscribe myself in the app. I went to the "app" which is not a real app and the app does not allow you to unsubscribe, but takes you to an advertisement in a looping cycle and you cannot click on subscription management...a total scam. I sent another email that was more assertive instructing them to unsubscribe me now, that this is a scam, and my bank has blocked them from any further transactions. They did respond stating that I am now unsubscribed.

Targeted ads on instagram from Stylix. Paid for subscription on app that doesn’t exist and charges $49.99 monthly. Website on credit card statement takes you to a private investigation website.

Website promises free trial and lists out how to cancel. If you cancel within the noted time frame, your card shouldn't be charged. However, if you cancel, the site says "successful cancellation" but then they send you an email to complete the cancellation. It's dishonest and deceptive. Attempts to deal with the company result in "we did nothing wrong"
