The phone ID was coming from a person named

V Kumar.

They asked if I had more than $4,000 in student loan debt.

Then if I was employed. Then what my income was because I was unemployed.

As soon as they found out I had no incoming income they no longer wanted to talk to me. So that tells me they wanted money.

Company called stating they were calling about my student loans. The recording said they were trying to reach me about my student loans and it says the Covid student loan forgiveness was about to end. It is always the same voice on the recording. The person said his name was Adam. When I spoke to them, they were asking for my bank account information to set up payments. I don't even have student loans. I told them to stop calling me and blocked the number and they have called me from other numbers. They have called several times.

This number has called me several times saying that it is a response to an inquiry about student loans. Which I never made. The other numbers include:

330-856-1752, 330-264-2463, 330-809-8727, 330-721-9148, 330-264-8122, 330-893-6016.

A person named Barbara called and left a message saying I needed to contact her at 866-437-0010 regarding updated information regarding my student loans. Since I do not have any student loans I assumed it was a scam of some kind. She said when I called back I should use reference #02025. I called the number just to see what would happen. I was prompted to press 1 if I did not have a loan or my loan was under $10,000 and to press 2 if my loan was more than $10,000. I was then told to leave my contact information for them to call me back. Needless to say, I did not leave them any information. The recorded message they left me and their phone system sounded very professional.

The public should be warned.
