My phone number is on the National and Local do not call lists. This company calls me about 3-4 times a day. The last time this number called me, I heard screaming kids in the background.

This company is violation of the Do Not Call lists.

- Charlotte, NC, USA

They called my house daily from an "Out Of Area" phone number about 3-4 times a day, a foreigner asks for your name, annual income, household size and how much you owe in student loans...I lied and if you ask them a question about why are they calling, they hang up. I cussed them out and then they called over and over and over again. They get Very unprofessional when they figure out that they can't scam you! I want to warn everyone that this is not a legitimate company to yell back at you and are rude and very harassing by calling back.

- Aurora, CO, USA

This company has been calling my phone number for over 2 years. I have repeatedly asked them not to call me, that I am not the person they are calling for and I am on the do not call list. They continue to call. Recently they have spoofed my phone number and are now using my phone number to call and scam others. I have gotten calls from people who say I called them and they are calling back. I have had people get angry with me when I deny I called them. Some people say the same thing has happened to them. Yesterday I received 11 calls. I blocked the calls I could. I then started getting calls from a restricted number at 4:14, 4:44, 7:22, and 8:39. From what I have read about companies that spoof you number, there is very little that can be done. One of the things I read is to no answer calls from numbers you don't recognize. When you answer it lets them know the number is active and they can then spoof the number.

Received a pre-recorded voicemail message from a female caller with an American accent who identified herself as "Tanya Perkins from the Student Loan Help Center." She said she was reaching out to let me know that due to recent changes in the Student Loan Forgiveness program, my federal student loans may not qualify for student loan forgiveness provided by the U.S. Department of Education. She said that if I want to find out if I might be eligible to reduce or eliminate my monthly payments, I should them back at 725-214-2578 to review my options.

I noticed they did not call me from the (725-...) callback number, but instead from a phone number that had an area code from the same state that my phone's area code is in. And while I did have federal student loans a number of years ago, and am currently a student again, I do not have ANY student loan debt. Clearly this was a phishing attempt, possibly based on my student status, and masked as a friendly, local number. If I had any student loan debt, this call would have been a lot more convincing.

Received multiple phone calls from this supposed company trying to offer student loan forgiveness for delinquent debts. All of my student loans are either paid in full or paid ahead. gives a different phone number to call back to and when asked to remove my phone number they hang up, when asked for an address to send a cease and desist the rep becomes very rude and will not provide.

After completing my education with a Master's Degree, I was CONSTANTLY contacted about Loan Forgiveness. Since I knew some of my loan should be forgiven, I jotted down the names of the businesses calling and checked them out online. I was told that the process of loan forgiveness could not happen without assistance from a reputable company. I talked to several people at my job who agreed. So, I used Student Loan Help Center who worked hand-in-hand with Federal Student Loans. They were going to be my voice throughout the entire repayment process, keeping my paperwork up-to-date and giving me reminders when new paperwork needed to be turned in yearly. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED ONCE! They do NOT answer the phone or emails. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE SCAM that I fell for. I am out $800 and have no assistance with the many legalities of repaying my loan. It has been difficult to find the right options for me with all the changes in what is forgiven and what is not. DO NOT USE THIS BOGUS SERVICE!

I keep getting auto-called by this company from different phone numbers. Every time I get called, I press the number to talk to a representative and request that they take me off their call list, and every time they hang up on me. This has happened at least 10 times already.

I was wondering if you can help me stop a telemarketing company that won't stop calling me. They use an automated message (robo call) about how this is my "final offer" to have my federal student loan forgiven or refinanced. I don't have any student loans and I wouldn't give any financial information to a random stranger who calls in the middle of the day, but that's not really the point.

The calls started at the end of August and they've been calling me literally every weekday for the past two weeks. I have repeatedly told them not to call me, and I have records of every call they made, yet they keep calling. I have filed complaints at the FTC and State of Florida Do Not Call websites and I have numerous confirmation numbers from the State of Florida Do Not Call website. ( My phone number has been on the FTC and State of Florida Do Not Call list for probably around 3 years.)

I finally started asking them for their company name and a sales rep finally gave it to me:

National Student Help Center

26970 Maple St

Sacramento, CA

www.studentloans.org

And after she gave me the address, I once again told her not to call and that I was on the Do Not Call list... and then they called me again 30 minutes later!

When I did a search for this company, I found their address is:

2660 Cypress Ridge Blvd STE 101

Wesley Chapel, FL 33544-6324

(855) 258-6488

I filed a complaint with the FCC and it has been assigned Ticket No. 2038046.

At this point, I consider their calls to be harassing since they won't stop calling, even after I've repeatedly told them not to call. And I believe using an automated robo-dialer is also against the law.

If you need a record of every time they called and the phone numbers they used, please let me know.

Thank you for your help

Was supposed to take my monthly loans fee to $0. Asked for $795 to do it . Took $395.50 for first payment and had me sign a document. After investigating the company I figured out it was a scam. I contact the FTC and my bank. They have put the money back into my account and destroyed the bank card .
