This could be a scam for Identity Theft, however I am not sure. Over the past 2 months, I have received a call bi weekly with a message saying, "Hi, this is Chelsea from Student Health Assistance. My number is 855-562-0011. I am giving you a follow up call regarding you Federal Student Loans. I do see here that we have you prequalified for the Student Loan Forgiveness Program. Just keep in mind that these programs will change, and the Relief Deferment & Forbearance Program is actually about to expire. So, I don't want your qualifications to actually change along with that. I am here all week,..(contact info.)"

As far as I know, we do not have a Student Loan.

The do not call phone number is 838-222-8900.

I received a call from Chelsa with student health assistance with a follow up call regarding prequalification for student loan forgiveness. I do not have a student loan, so I called and a man with an accent answered the number that was provided (855-788-1588). When I told him I don't have student loans and that I didn't understand why I received this call, he hung up. Obviously a scam.

I've been continually targeted by a "public student loan forgiveness company" representative named Chelsea with Student Health Assistance about a federal program for forgiveness about to expire. My student loans were private and are all paid off. I've heard of fake companies asking for money to "forgive" or refinance student loans for a fee and then disappearing. I suspect this is one of them.

Here is the transcript of the voicemail that was left for me:

“ “Hey it's Natalie with student health assistance my phone number is 855-565-1700 and I'm actually just doing a follow up call for you regarding your public student loans um I do see here that we still have you prequalified for the student loan forgiveness program I just want you to keep in mind that these programs will change and the release deferment for Barents program is about to expire so I don't want your qualifications to also change along with that um I a.m. here all week Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific standard time just in case again my phone number is 855-565-1700 and you can go ahead and speak to me or anyone of the representatives but I do hope to hear from you soon and have a great day…”
