I paid for a moving company to move my apartment. I was told that there was a mandatory deposit to confirm the time/date of the movers. I paid said deposit then the next day the movers showed up late, without a truck which is what the deposit secured, and it was a man, his wife, and his minor child claiming they would help us move. When asked to refund the deposits since they were not capable of completing the service, the business manager refused and has since refused.

Company presented themselves as movers to help me move a refrigderator from one house to another. We scheduled the date and window of time for 1/13 between 12 and 2. They never showed for the move but continued to act like they were running late. When it was several hours later and I kept asking for when arrival, finally learned they could not make it. We rescheduled for Monday but then on Monday, there was too much ice on the roads. So we rescheduled for the following Saturday 12-2 window. This was January 20th. The same thing happened on that day, pretended to be coming on time, then didn't and phone call and text follow ups would say they are on the way but never could provide an arrival time. After 3 hours from end of the window, 5:00 I advised if didn't arrive in next half hour, I wanted my money back becauase they had not made good on their services. When they didn't arrive nor respond to my text, I requested the money back from the CashApp transaction. The company has not refunded my money nor acknowledged any wrong doing.
