Strike Energy Reports & Reviews (3)

Was contacted by someone pretending to be Bill Kirksey and Kate Gillham from Strike Energy for a work from home position. I was sent a W-4 and I-9 to fill out and did so. After that some red flags started popping up, unfortunately they already had my personal info including Social Security number. Their Emails came from @strikeenergy.com but the real website Strikeenergy.com.AU

Their website states that they do not hire remote workers outside of Australia. Do not fall for this scam - Avoid anything from Strike Energy unless you meet with someone in person

Kent Johnson allegedly of YMCA contacted me to set up an online interview for an employment opportunity for an executive admin position with an international company called, Strike Energy. It was indicated that he was referred by Workforce Development Co. I met with Victoria Williams of Strike Energy online and corresponded with her at [email protected]. I was told I will be a contract employee, paid weekly and they will be shipping the office equipment to Hawaii. Since I did not receive the equipment, I started questioning. They wanted my bank information for direct deposit. However, I did not feel comfortable providing, so they send me a digital cashier's check for me to print. I was to deposit it at ATM and withdraw cash. I did not. Instead, I had my bank place the longest hold on the check and deposited it in person and let them know about the situation surrounding the check. The check belonged to a company who had no idea about the check issued to me.

So I am looking for a job on my Louisiana govt website and I receive a message from Strike energy. It proclaimed it self as big brothers and big sisters for strike energy. I was messaged that I would have an interview through Google hangouts with a David Stewart. Throughout this conversation that we have they asked legitimate questions a Real job would ask. They did however get my name my address or phone number in the name of my bank but that was it. They haven't asked for any personal account numbers or Social Security or anything like that. They tell me that I get the job after answering all of their questions and training will start tomorrow at 9 AM my first exercise is an article on the importance of office equipment. They say you're going to get paid $18 at training and $22 after training. I did however go online and look them up and they didn't pop up on Wikipedia but I'm pretty sure these are the same people there just to t training will start tomorrow at 9 AM my first exercise is an article on the importance of office equipment. This is a complete scam I also have emails with a so called employment letter that I had to sign and send back through email. I called the ScamPulse.com and talk to them about this company and they believe it is scam as well. Please do not fall into this trap and please do not give out any personal information. It is sad that they're people that actually do this for a living.
