A company rep came to home - unfortunately we listened to him and my husband signed paper to have insulation added to house. I tried to cancel but they said that I waited too long - the contract states "owner may cancel this Contract by a written notice to the seller sent by United states, mail, and postmarked not later than midnight of the third business day after the date agreement signed." There was more in that paragraph re; damages from costs and expenses necessarily incident to the business, etc. Now they say that they have hired MIKE MORRIS LAW FIRM and are threatening to place a lien on the home and we would still have to pay the $7,425 whether we go ahead and have the job done - they have scheduled work to be done on August 21.

Is there anything that we can do. 1/2 of the payment would be due on 8/21.
