Last sunday my fiance tagged me in a work from home job on facebook for a company called stream global services in Eagen, Minnesota (which I later discovered in permanently closed). I messaged the woman who posted about the position since I am a stay at home mom with my 11 month old daughter and in desperate need of a flexible job. She spoke to me briefly, and then had someone message me about the position. She "interviewed" me about my past job experiences, and told me I was hired about an hour later. She asked for my full name, phone number, email address, current home address, and a picture of myself next to my drivers license. These all seemed like normal questions for a new workplace so I gave the information. She said that my laptop and all of my working materials will be sent via mail along with my W-4 form, and said that I will be receiving a check for $1458.25 with my name on it and to keep $200 of it for a sign on bonus. The next day, another woman sent me a PDF check to print and deposit through my mobile wells fargo account. The money was available on Monday (October 16) morning. She told me to go to Walmart and to let her know when I got there to be directed on what to do next. I thought she was sending me there to buy a laptop or something since it was a lot of money. I told her when I got there and she said to do a walmart2walmart transfer for $1200. I was very uneasy about it, but I did the transfer still thinking it was real. Once I left walmart I couldnt shake the feeling that I made a horrible mistake. I called Wells fargo, explained the situation and started the dispute. They explained that the check will come back as fraudulent and the $1200 I transferred will come out of my account. She had me transfer the money to Illinois. I got scammed trying to make money for my family and even after filing a police report and reporting it to the FTC, it seems no one can help me get my money back.

I would love to be able to somehow get my money back even if it was only some of it. I have my daughter to worry about and I'm unsure what to do.
