Company sent an “invoice” for $3,495, with note at the bottom that “if payment can not be made by the due date, please request a credit period extension from your account executive.” We have never done business with this company, have never heard of them before, and did not request or order any services from them. The fake invoice nowhere notes that it is an advertisement, and for all intents and purposes looks like a real bill. This is a total scam.

We received a fake invoice in the mail in November 2016 for $3,495 for advertising in the "Defense & Homeland Security Technology Business Development Directory - 2017 Edition" from Strategic Business Communications. The fake invoice looked very professional and listed the owner's name as "Approver." Had it not been for the "best practices" and policies & procedures that our company follows, this invoice may have been paid. The owner listed as the approver had no knowledge of the invoice or the company or the directory in which the advertising was to appear. Even the fine print at the bottom of the invoice does not identify it as being fake and is actually quite confusing. I'm sure there are companies that have fallen victim to Strategic Business Communications' fraudulent invoicing. They should be stopped immediately.

SCAMMER is Strategic Business Communications our of Lake Success NY

Mailng an invoice for advertising neither ordered nor approved and listing the presidnet of the company in the "APPROVER" column, as if to imply that the work listed in the invoice were even "Ordered" much less "Approved by" the president of the company.

Clearly a PHISHING SCAM! Expecting the "auto pay generation" to pay the bill without knowing if a service was either ordered or provided.

PLEASE PILE-ON and REPORT this company to the New York State Department of Consumer Fraud at http://www.ag.ny.gov/consumer-frauds/contact.

Also reprot them your and local ScamPulse.com at https://www.bbb.org/

This business needs to be knocked back before they collect hndreds of thousands of dollars form teh "Auto-Pay Generation".
