I was offer the job of Fullfillment Assistant and did the interview. I was skeptical about the company and didn't give it my all for the interview but I was still offer the job just a couple hours later. I research the HR lady and call her phone number, and look to see if they were register with BBB with them being so big and partnering with big companies like Old Navy, Bath and Body but everything didn't look and sound professional, it just didn't seem right. I even called the location address management properties and was told that the suite 925 does not exist there. I emailed back the HR lady about the phone call and she said she can provide me their EIN number but never respond back. I am glad I did my research first before signing their fake contract.

I was approached for a position via a personal Email and was offered a job as a "Fullfillment Assistant" at their company.

The original email I recieved listed the postion as "Quality control assistant" and listed a completely different company "ES Delivery, LLC".

It wasn't until the after actual interview was lined up that the position name changed to "Fullfilment Assistant" and the company name changed to "Stortport".

It is a reshipping scam and unfortunately, I got pretty far into the process before learning what a reshipping scam was and I'm honestly not sure what to do about it. They have a copy of my state ID and a W9 with my social on it.

They've done a good job of making the Stortport site seem legitimate, and I can only hope that I backed out soon enough that I won't get in trouble.

My hope is to bring notice to the company so that other people don't fall into the same trap.

There are 2 other sites "Rankern" and "Vallemail" that I feel are also connected to this scam as their companies seem very similar and may be branches of the same scam.

This company reached about a fulfillment assistant position through CareerBuilder. Their website looked legitimate and detailed, as did the job offer. However, once I got on the phone for the interview, the ACTUAL position they needed filled made no sense for a legitimate company to be asking for. They wanted me to receive packages to my home from FEDEX or UPS, inspect them, and then send them back out through fedex. It made no sense to me so I researched for a bit and found out about this common “reshipping” scam that would’ve had me act as their mule for illegally purchased or stolen merchandise. Hopefully you can shut down their operation and prevent anyone else from falling for their grift,
