Type of a scam Employment

I received a text message from the number (877-381-3405 from someone of the name Jannell Greenfield. She told me to download signal and to contact Bryan Denmark at the phone number of (941) 999- 1889. When I did, the individual asked me questions towards the interview for the job. After around 30 minutes of answering questions, they stated I was hired. The training would pay $15 and being a full-time employee after training would be $30. Because the decision was made so fast for a job that would pay a lot, I questioned the legitimacy. After this, Bryan sent me two documents. One document was a letter that stated all of my duties, which Bryan asked me to sign and send back. The second documentation was a blank W-2 form that I was asked to fill out and submit, as well as include my driver's license. I did not send any of this information in, as I was concerned about my safety. Another reason why I questioned this would be because they stated they were going to send me a check for $4500 for just starting. This check was for me in order to buy all the required materials to preform my remote job. I thought this was way too much money to give out to someone that they do not even know if they are serious about the job or not, as they have only talked to me for around an hour at that point.
