Scammer posed as a lawyer and sent notice of overdue invoice balance to an industrial customer, supposedly on behalf of an equipment supplier with name very similar to that of their actual suppliers. Industrial customer contacted us and we verified they received a scam. Scammer will request payment to their 'attorney office' rather than provide a vendor address.
