This all happened from 9/10-9/14 - 2 weeks before these dates, I was on Facebook, which is not an every day thing: The advertisement offered supplementing your income by becoming a mystery shopper. If interested, register through their link and, if chosen, they would mail you an information pack on the company and how it works. I received a priority mail envelope with a cashier's check and first assignment instructions. The instructions noted what my pay and bonus would be if completed in 24 hours, directed to cash the check, less my pay, and buy Amazon and iTunes gift cards at various stores in my area. Then answer the 12 survey questions, take pictures of the scratched off numbers on the back of the cards and receipts and email them to the 2 addresses on my letter. The check was $610 less than the instructions indicated. My husband and I discussed this and I decided to email and enquire about this. 30 minutes later, both emails came back that there was a mistake when sending my package and corrected instructions were attached. The new instructions still directed me to cash the check but now had 9 survey questions, specified I was to only go to Walmart and now directed to purchase 5 iTunes cards at $100 each and 6 Amazon cards at $100 each. The next day, I sent an email to the mspa inquiring about legitamacy and have still not gotten a response. Deposited the check into a new account and resolved to wait on mspa response and if the check successfully cleared before further action. On 9/12 I got a text message requesting I kindly confirm receipt and complete my assignment. My response was I was awaiting on the funds to clear my bank as I had just changed institutions. On 9/13, I receive a text asking the status of the check. My response was it was deposited and would remain untouched as I was waiting to hear from the mspa and ScamPulse.com as to their legitamacy and that their advertisement did not match their actions thus far but closely resembled the scams I had read about. The next day my bank removed the funds as they noted it was a bad cashiers check.

Received check for secret shopping. Instructed to deposit or cash the check and go shopping. Buy itunes and amazon cards and contact them. Check is drawn on Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania for $1980.00

Mystery shopper for ITunes and Amazon. Sends check from Citizens Bank to cash or deposit in your bank account and then purchase gift cards for $400-$1150. Scratch off gift cards, complete survey and send results along with copy of back of gift cards. Check is $1980.00 and your pay is $430 minus cost of gift cards.
