Received a call from my cousin wife, stating that she received a call from someone looking to speak to my next of kin regarding a legal matter. She told me the lady explain to her that it was regarding my credit union account. I asked for the number and instructed my cousin's wife not to disclose any of my information. I called the number and a gentlemen answer " Statewide Mediation". I proceeded to tell him I was returning a call and he put me through to my representative. She told me I took out a cash usa loan back before 2013 and didn't repay it. She knew the last four of my social and a old job email that I haven't worked for in years. I told the lady I never taken a advance loan and will not be discussing this matter over the phone without any legal documentation which she stated they will send, and she hope I don't lose my car behind it. Her exact words were be carefully driving and hung up.

Statewide Mediation called me saying that I was going to be sued by a payday loan company that I had dealt with in the past if I did not make a payment immediately. They also stated that a court server would be sent to my home if a payment was not processed that day. I contacted the loan company and was told that there is only one third party company that they deal with and it is not Statewide. I also did research online and saw many reports about this company on how they harass and threaten people, and how they are using legal tactics to try to get money from people.

Received a phone call from 815-414-9961 on Dec 31,2015 saying that I have a case against me for an unpaid loan from 2009. if I did not call the 1888-627-1967 and take care of the payments then I would be served papers. me, being responsible for my actions, called and set up a payment plan of 136.16 every two weeks. well, when I found the time to look up the number via internet, mind after making two payments, discovered that this was a scam. I contacted my bank immediately and cancelled my debit card and am now receiving a new one. now on Feb 9,2016, after cancelling my card, I received another call from 815-414-9961 from a Brianna stating that my case will be reopened if I do not call with new info to make the payments. she gave me the number 866-446-1456 to call, which is completely different from the original number from the first call. After falling for the scam I am afraid they have my ss#. however, they do not have my address. After searching the new number of 866-446-1456, it came up with "statewide mediation scams" and they are not even in the ScamPulse.com searches. I learned for this time.
