I went online and used the search criteria "passport renewal." Somehow I was directed to this website which i thought was affiliated with the US government. I filled out all the information and then tried to submit it with the payment information but it appears the transaction did not go through. I called the number and talked with a representative. I gave her my phone number and email and she said the transaction had not been processed. She instructed me to re-apply. I did not and started checking further. There is NO info on website.

Trying to get a US passport and this company scammed $129 plus SS, passport number, address, dob and at the post office, another man had been scammed by the same website. It claims to get your passport, put just downloads your info to a pdf to take the post office to have your picture taken for a passport. They now have all of our personal information to steal our identity and we had to cancel the credit card and dispute the charge.

The website asks many questions, including social security number, and essentially fills out the DS-11 passport form for you, which is the "service" they talk about in their refund policy. When you go to pay, there are 2 payment options, one for expedited and one for regular shipping. This suggests that you are paying for the passport, including how it is shipped, when in reality you are offered two different costs for the same product, which is have the DS-11 filled out for you and emailed to you.
