I was called by a convincing robo. They asked if I would like too donate $ too state troopers families who have died in action. The robo told me that we’re gonna send me an envelope in the mail. I said ok then I was redirected to their payment department and then I knew this was a scam. That was from the # 315-XXX-XXXX. I hung up and called the Syracuse police non emergency number and reported it. Ten minutes later I got a call from 518-XXX-XXXX. She stayed she was from the payment department from a state trooper fund. I asked what organization is this and she hung up. My phone says the original call came from Hamilton NY. The second call came from port Ann my.
