I was called by Robert Johnson who was working with the State of WI theft & burglary department. He said that I owed $847 and demanded that I pay it by credit card immediately. If I did not pay I would be sued 3x's the amount in court. He said that they had tapes of me refusing to pay debt collectors. I told him I did not owe the money and gave him my attorney's number. They called back several times saying that I did not give the complete number. I spoke to my attorney and to the police that said it was a scam. I am afraid that older people will fall for this.
