On 5/11/2022, I was contacted at work by Felicia from State Farm notifying me that my home insurance had been cancelled due to non payment. I was a little taken back as I am chronically current with my bills. It was only after she told me she would need to call me back to make payment that it occurred to me that Liberty Mutual was my carrier and had been since July 2021. I called them back but she could not find her manager and had no explanation for this error. I am just grateful I did not give my CC number to these individuals.

The caller called identifying themselves from State Farm Insurance. They asked for me by name. Then asked if they called my direct extension. I replied ' "You did." The call was disconnected. Then they called our main number and were transferred back to me. They asked for me by name. I replied, "Yes" Then the call was again disconnected.

I googled the number which indicated several complaints siting the same story. Then I found the Don't say "Yes" scam warning. I had not previously heard this warning.
