Paid with credit card. Got an email from PayPal about my purchase. Didn't click on link.they were trying to get my PayPal information. Reporting g this to my credit card company

BUYER BEWARE! This site is a scam. I ordered what appeared to be a book for $9.80 , providing all relative information including email and shipping address. Payment was made via my credit card through PayPal. I fortunately took a screen shot of my purchase order number. When no email receipt or tracking information was provided , I contacted the seller who responded by saying this was a digital purchase. First, NO mention of digital content was apparent on website and second, I received NO digital content anyway. I contacted my bank who is investigating. The seller did agree to a refund , but has yet to provide one stating that no email I provided shows any purchase made. The order number given at the time of purchase SHOULD provide all necessary information. Staronos had no problem processing the transaction and taking my money, but is certainly giving the run around when a refund needs to be issued. Next, PayPal will be contacted and then the BBB.

Same problem, but paid with a credit card , not PayPal, got an email about order, but no tracking or anything, also ordered book, not digital copy. Then 2 hours later, got an email that looked like a legitimate PAYPAL email about 9.80 purchase from them.. Said click link to activate PayPal. They were trying to charge me twice. Or steal my PayPal information. Had a new charge card sent out, next thing u know they'll be using that. I didn't click on activate PayPal link but went to PayPal in my browser, to see if anything on there. Was nothing about a 9.80. Purchase. Must be all their books are 9.80.

I wanted to purchase the hardcover book by Rep. Adam Shiff titled: "Midnight in Washington: How We Almost Lost Our Democracy and Still Could". I found the bookseller Staronos through a google search. The price was very good, so I thouroughly checked the webpage with the description. The ad copy clearly intended to portray a print book for sale, even giving the ISBN for Congressman Shiff's hardback book. Several days later I was sent an e-mail with a link to an e-book. This is not what I purchased. I e-mailed Staronos books as was simply told that I had my book (link) and they offered no refunds.
