Went to restaurant and needed to use app to order food. Received 5 day trial notice from Starller.com after putting my information in. Saw charge of $1 to my creditcard which later disappeared. Saw a message in spam talking about the 5 day trial so went to the website to make sure it was cancelled just in case. Website was garbage and had no easy way of terminating the service nor did the log on info they provided work. Called phone # provided on website. It dialed through to message saying it may take a while to connect but logged off without me doing anything. Kept calling and someone answered the phone. They did not identify themselves. They confirmed my email and last 4 digits of card and told me that the trial was cancelled. I notified my creditcard company as the process was entirely weird and had not received a confirmation of cancellation that I would have expected. After search on line I found a scam page talking about Starller. Added comments to ScamPulse.com and FTC.

I had to scan a QR code to renew my drivers license and that scan made a website to pop up where they asked me for my name and credit card and it says “your cc won’t be charge, it’s just to put your name in system “ so I thought it was the Tennessee drivers license place and I entered my information and then nothing happened… then I noticed I had a charge in my credit card for 50 bucks and it says it will be a monthly fee. I realize immediately it was a scam. Also they deceiving because it supposed to be 5 days free trial but they charged me right away and I tried to cancel immediately but it wasn’t possible. I reported it to my cc company. Also there are many complaints about that company. I found a lot of them online.
