Stack Resouce Reports & Reviews (1)

A woman, Jess Feeny, posted to 'Moms on a budget' group on Facebook claiming to have a data entry assistant position for $22.75/hour. 20-45 hours a week. Flexible schedule & work from home opportunity. With no experience necessary & offers benefits. Sounds too good to be true but I still decided to cautiously entertain the idea. I reached out via Facebook messenger. After a short exchange I was asked to have a texting interview with the interviewer through Google hangouts. Once I got on the 'interview' a man named James Kelvin sent me a questionnaire, in which I answered accordingly & returned back to him. Of the 13 questions, the strangest were "Do you have a bank issues credit card" and " Is your [phone] carrier postpaid or prepaid?" After quick, he asked for personal information (address, DOB, phone#, etc.) for "Employee Verification". I would not give up my personal information until I was sure this was a legitimate offer. After inquiring, he sent me the website "stackresource.org", which Mrs. Feeny did as well when I asked specific questions. Mind you my questions are as simple as "What company is this for?" I asked Mr. Kelvin when the company was created. He informed it was started in 2010, so I asked why there was nothing to be found on Google or Linkedin for a company running for 11 years? Then he stopped responding entirely. I also went back to Facebook messenger to ask Mrs. Feeny the same question. Again, no response...
