I received a Moderna Vaccine at the VA. Later that day, I received an email asking for a survey to be done for the vaccine. Headers say [email protected]. Once completed, the site said I could take available of free offers and only pay shipping and handling. I chose the dashcam. My order confirmation page said my card would be charged for $5.95. and it said Legitdashcam.com up top. Now this is a screenshot on my phone because it said I would receive the order confirmation via email once the order shipped. Very unsettling - not to receive one right away. Several hours later, my card was charged for $89.99 (the price of the dash cam) by something called HDDiaries. I called Legistdashcam that night 11/25/21 and left a message. The next day I received a text message from their online billing dept who stated they charged me what they received from the survey company and that HDDiaries was a 3rd party biller that actually billed my card. I was told it was an online bookstore. WTH? I never heard of these people. So I googled them and called their #. So Im talking to the HDDiaries rep verbally and still texting Legitdashcam.com. They both kept saying the same BS and then they both offered to cancel the order. So I cancelled the order. A few days later I receive the dash cam. I check my email since I never got a confirmation of the cancellation. It said they could not cancel the order in time and so it was shipped. I did several support tickets to both Legitdashcam and HD Diaries who said they needed more than 48 hrs o cancel the order (this was not mentioned before) and if I wanted my $ back then I would need to pay return shipping and send the item back. They would not refund the difference of $84.04, refused to give me a supervisor or even send a return label. The HD Diaries agent got an attitude that on their website the price of the item was 89.99. I re-iterated again of many times that I did not order anything from HDDIaries. I did a special offer through Legitdash.com and that survey email. I then contacted my bank about it and filed a dispute, and cancelling my credit card #. AFter about week, I talked with my bank today 12/13/21 who said when they contacted the company they were told that I had signed up for a trial offer (I did not , no where was that mentioned and with who)..and that they charged me $5.95 shipping and then a few days later then 89.99 after the item shipped. Which is all bold faced lies. I was only charged 89.99 the day of the order, when it was supposed to be $5.95. My bank will not do anything. So I called the Legitdashcam people again stating they need to pay return shipping for their 2 mistakes or credit me the $84.04 different. That is pending. I dont trust these peopel to honor anything, much less a "30 day money back guarantee"
