I took what I thought was a Home Depot Customer Survey and qualified for a gift valued at $100. I selected a Dash Cam and was only to pay $5.95 for shipping and handling (see attached documents). The next thing I know my credit card company was calling me to verify a charge for $89.99 on my card from a company by the name of HD Diaries. Of course I said this was a fraudulent charge because I knew that I was only to be charged $5.95 for shipping. I was given the company phone number and was told that they were not aware of any promotion from Home Depot and that all their products are $89.99. I promptly cancelled this order and was told that it would take 5 to 7 business days to receive my refund. It should be noted that I NEVER!!! received an email confirmation for this order, I was told it takes 48 hours before an email confirmation could be sent, I could not speak with an Administrator because none were available, and I was denied specific information about HD Diaries (ex: address, Administrators names, etc.) because representatives were not at liberty to provide this information. I filed ScamPulse.com Complaints against HD Diaries and Home Depot about this matter and Home Depot prompt reply indicated that they had no Affiliation with HD Diaries and that Home Depot had no knowledge of any such Customer Survey with prize choices (see attached document). It appears that this was a scam offer came from HD Diaries or Offshore Sales LLC and I would have to pursue the matter with them.
