They have been calling for a weeks and months wanting to resolve a payday loan debt. I ignored the call for a few days because I was leary, but then they called threatening to serve me papers to go to court at my place of employment and home from a Locator. They scared me so bad, and also wanted my debit card information. I am so scared to have them take me to court and serve papers, I gave them my debit card information and making payments 79.62 all the way till Jan. 18, 2016 Doc.#28446054276
Now I am afraid I have made a big mistake. They told me they were suing me, and that they were going to garnish my wages. When I asked for a copy of the contract I signed with the company they said they do not have access to the information. That card is associated with my checking account, now I am so worried and their phone calls are a little scary. They first called my work telling them I'm being served from Locator on that Same day and contacted family, Friends telling them the same thing and they at the house looking for me.
I do not want them to debit my account, and I want proof of the debt other than court related documents. I want them to Cease any Contact with me through my work, family, friends!
I have contacted the Illinois Attorney General Office and made a complaint and I have stopped all payments through my banks.
