Our business' square account was hacked, they changed our email but luckily we were still logged in and able to change the email back & give ourselves a new password. The email they attempted to change the account to was [email protected]. They changed the primary bank account (to First Premier Bank), took out an almost $6k loan, attempted to transfer that money into their account (we called square and they locked our account from making transactions), and ordered a debit card to one of my boss' old locations in South Dakota (the same state this person's bank account is located in). We just found out about the debit card this morning. I called First Premier yesterday in regards to their clients account being suspicious and they told me they couldn't recognize the bank account or routing number, even though it was for sure their bank showing up as the primary on our square account (which my boss has never been connected to). Very scary, please watch that person's email. We are a small medical office with many clients who are older and potentially vulnerable. We also have many clients who used to or currently work in law enforcement so although there was no breach in our accounts regarding client information, you can understand our fear and displeasure with the attempt.

Received an email saying $570 would be debited from my bank account in two days if I did not cancel it immediately if I believed it was sent in error. I have not had any dealings with anyone who used Square. I believe this is a total scam and am NOT clicking on any links.

My business received an email stating that square would be depositing $945.55 into my account. I know this is fake as I don’t have a reason for that amount to be coming into my account. I believe they were wanting me to sign in so they could steal my info.

I received a email from Square saying to contact them immediately about a payment dispute. I do not have a Square account, legitimate or otherwise. I trashed the email

[email protected]., [email protected] DO NOT HAVE A SQUARE ACCT OR DEVICE FOR MY PHONE!!! I keep getting emails saying to verify my email and either dispute or confirm a 3,506.00 transaction that I did not make. It says my bank declined it and will continue to decline withdrawals or deposits until I confirm this. Tried to spam these emails but they are getting more aggressive with each email. Every link they say to click on for help shows up page unavailable. TIRED OF BEING HARASSED!!!! ..Can you help me verify if this is real and what for?
