There was a listing on Letgo and the guy was trying to give out an old phone instead of selling it. He gave me his number and told me to use WhatsApp instead. He kept assuring me he wasn’t going to hurt me by not sending the phone but I honestly can say I saw it coming. I went along with his gimmick and the situation got to a point where this completely free item went to be $31 for shipping. Told him I didn’t have he’d say he’d pay 11 and I’ll pay 20 and I sent him the money via CashApp. He then contacted me later saying that the shipping was actually $51. I googled it and knew he couldn’t possibly be telling the truth because he claimed he called ahead of time but somehow misheard the price. He kept assuring me he wasn’t trying to hurt me. He told me to send another 20 asking for screenshots both times and so I did. But the strange part was that I wasn’t sending it to him. Maybe to his wife or PNC, because the name was different and it was a female. I clarified if that was the right cash app account and he said it was. He told me it should be two days. It’s been four. He also said he gave my number to fedex and they were to send me tracking information. Well that never happened.
