A post was made in a Facebook event created for Kimmswick MO Strawberry Festival with information to craft vendors stating spaces were still available and to reach out via phone number and Messenger to get the vendor application. I did this process and provided all of my information including business information. I was emailed an invoice to pay via PayPal and instructions on sending the payment. It wasn’t until later when I got suspicious upon this individual asking for additional payment as I was told the only booth size available was a 20’ x 20’ lot after I had already sent over payment for a 10’ x 20’ booth size. I inquired for additional details and a vendor contact since I just started selling crafts within the last month. I was not able to obtain the requested information such as a vendor contract and this individual had peculiar behavior of asking so constantly for the additional payment. It was obvious to me at this point what was going on, unfortunately they had already got one payment and my information. The Facebook profile has since been deleted and I took screenshots.
