I saw a listing on Indeed for a Customer Service Operations Specialist with Spotify. The listing showed Spotifys logo, and chief human resources woman, Katarina Berg was who reached out to me. I researched her and the business opportunity online. I applied directly on the link she provided, which is SpotifyCareers.com. She emailed me back a week later and congratulated me on landing the job. She sent me the employment contract which seemed totally legitimate and asked for a voided check for payroll. She also sent the w4 & i-9 for me to fill out. I signed the contract, completed the paperwork and sent the email. She emailed me back and said "Welcome aboard, I'll get back with you soon!" Upon further investigation, I realized the link to apply for an ACTUAL Spotify job was different than the one provided on Indeed. The websites look almost identical in nature. I just shut down my bank account. I am going to reach out to credit agencies, IRS, etc to prevent my identity from being stolen. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed.
