Someone from phone number 260-249-5636 called and asked to call back and press”1”.

They said there is an arrest warrant against me.

Phone number: 202-953-9135

- South Bend, IN, USA

I received a voicemail from the above number saying that they were going to move ahead with legal proceedings if I didn’t call them. I called and they wanted information and then they hung up

Have received several calls over the past three days that are recorded messages claiming to the Social Security Administration informing me that they have identified suspicious and fraudulent activity using my SSN. Also, offered an option to connect by pressing #1.

These calls have all come from local exchanges that are cell phone numbers. I did redial one of these numbers and the man who answered said that he had not placed a call to my number. Therefore I am sure that whomever is doing this is spoofing numbers.

Three of the n umbers used are: 260-602-9341, 602-2614 and 602-5907.

Is the Social Security Administration aware of this scam or should I notify them myself?

Said social security payments are being stopped

- Fort Wayne, IN, USA
