He said he was calling about my new Medicare card. Ask if I’d received it because his records showed I hadn’t. I told him I didn’t believe his call was legitimate. He then told me he had all of my information & if he wasn’t legit he wouldn’t have my info. & he told me my address. I told him anyone could have that info. He spoke English very poorly & he started arguing with me. As I told him he was a scammer he argued louder. Kept saying “now you listen, I have all of your info. “ I said well if you are Legit & really with Medicare then you tell me my social security number. He got louder & said you listen, you need to give me your s.o.c. number so I can take care of this for you. I got louder & told him he was full of poop because if he were with Medicare he wouldn’t ask for my s.o.c. number. He got louder & kept repeating that he had my info & I needed to give him my soc! I finally shouted at him that he was a liar & he was trying to scam me & I’d heard enough of his poop & he used up to much of my time. Then I hung up on him. My caller ID said Xfinity Osceola, Indiana 1-574-777-7274 at 3:36 on July 20th. On my tv screen it showed xfinity above the phone number. That’s the name of my phone company. That’s weird because I’ve never seen it above the number before. That’s usually where the callers name is.
