A man called saying he was from Spectrum Cable telling my elderly mother inlaw our boxes needed to be replaced. I called Spectrum and they said it had to have been a bogus call. The scammer wanted her to send a $199.00 "deposit for new boxes"to the above mentioned address. She did not comply, however had she not had the phone on "speaker" to where I could hear what was going on, and take over the call, she would've been scammed out of two hundred dollars! Thank you.
