First a recording came on and stated they were Spectrum cable wanting to lower your monthly fee. The woman with a Paki or India accent told me the only way she can reduce my monthly bill by 40.00, is to apply as a brand new customer. She knew my name. I asked her what my address is on her computer. She gave me an address I never heard of in Hawaii. I then told her why don't you just change my status to new customer with the info she already had on me. She stated we need the info all over again. I retired from the Attorney Generals office and I am not an easy touch. I then told her what she can do with her discount and called her a scam criminal. She hung up the phone. This is the first cable T.V. provider scam I have heard of. People need to know especially older people. When I get these calls ( almost daily ) I usually play along and tell them I need to get my info and to hold on. I have a 200 watt stereo system and have Led Zeppelins " been a long time since i rocked and rolled. The intro is extremely loud and I put the receiver right next to the speaker for the intro. I wore a headset for work at times and I know what this does to the eardrums. This makes me happy. Pls alert people to this new scam. The ph# I received the scam from is populated at above scammer bucket. ** *** ** ******** ** *** **** **** ***** ***** ****
