Everyday I get a call saying that Spark Energy can reduce my ComEd utility bill by 20% and to please press "1" to speak to a rep. And everyday I ask for my number to be removed and placed on a "DO NOT CALL" list. The rep does not reply but hangs up on me. I am sick and tired of them breaking the law and calling me even when I asked to be removed. All the spam calls have an Illinois area codes (847, 815, 312, 773) and I had never received these types of calls until I filled at a form at the Illinois DMV for my 15 year old's drivers permit. I regret that I put my cell phone number down, because now I get spam calls ALL THE TIME from car insurance telemarketers and utilities telemarketers. I suspect the state of Illinois sold my info to these telemarketers.

Continue to call numerous timetimes and hang up or solicit services. I have had numerous times to be removed from their calling list but have still been call numerous times.

Persons claim they are from Spark Energy. They have called me for over 6 months leaving voicemails insisting that I owe them money on an unpaid account. They continuosuly leave messages asking to call them back with my "bill ready" along with an account number that they provided. This account number differs every time they call as well. I have never used Spark Energy services...ever. They never state my name because they do not know it...because the account they speak of is made up. When I have called them and asked them to stop calling, they tell me not to call them back...the amusing paradox! But then a week later they will call from a different number repeating their same scam. Their numbers generally pop up as "potential scam" on my phone. I have blocked all of these types of numbers with my phone provider. They have recently been able to avoid this label and have hence been able to again get through, yet their calls still go straight to voicemail and never ring. I have now had to block the number sequence "517212" completely in order to stop this nonsense. They have also contacted my wife several times using the same pitch. Quite stupid.

This company has gone through my condo complex saying they are employed by Eversource asking for personal information
