I was emailed in regards to a job posting for a customer service manager position for the company. I asked for more information and they provided papers and information about the roles I would be doing. I took the offer and asked many questions. I sent in the paperwork they needed me to send in and I started my first day of training. I was reading papers on training and talking to a manager when I was sent papers and a video about going to a bitcoin ATM. They told me I would be using my personal bank account since my company bank account wasn’t made yet and I knew then it was a scam. I tried to ask more questions why I would need to go an ATM for work, why I would need to use my personal bank account when I was just a customer service worker. One of the papers said not to contact and third party person I could only ask my manager questions. They also told me I would get paid $50 for doing the task and I would get $50 for a ride to the ATM. That’s when I printed off all the paperwork I was sent for copies and blocked the business.
