Jan on 22nd called ad in paper to have a new door and replace rotting wood. Nathan and Don Johnson came gave quote of $1595 and a contract. Provided $800 to go ahead and pick up the door. On Monday 2.1.21 they came to my home with the wrong door, they left to get the correct door, came back said they ordered the door and it would be in, in a week. He said he had to pay out of pocket nearly six hundred extra dollars with my $800. He had the order in his hand, i asked to make a copy for my records, I explained i would pay the difference of when the door arrives. When i went to make a copy of the order, i realized it was a quote not a receipt for the door and no door had been ordered. I called Nathan he did not answer i called Don who said it was a misunderstanding. i asked for my money back and Don said he would bring it 2.3.21 in the morning, but his brother Nathan had taken the money and he would get it back. On 2.3.21 Don's wife called said I had stopped payment on my check so they owed me nothing. I explained that the check cleared on 2.1.21 and I wanted my money back, I also asked why they answer the phone with D&N Remodeling and she said they were trying to get Southern Pride Remodeling up and going. I asked again for the return of my money and was told okay. Over the next several days they continued to text me saying hateful things and telling me there was nothing i could do. I responded telling them to just do the right thing.
