I should not have answered a call from South Carolina to Idaho in the first place. The caller identified herself as some medical place in S. C..and asked for someone who did not live here. I said wrong number and she went on to want to verify the number. I was expecting to hear a wrong number, so was caught off guard when she said my actual number. Then, I said yes, and right away regretted it.

I wonder if it is a coincidence that I had just entered our cell phone numbers in the donotcall registry the day before. They could use this information to verify that our phones were active.

These kinds of people are way ahead of us. The change tactics continually.
