On 10/16/21 I received a text from Sound Physicians of Illinois LLC that a bill was was due from my stay at SSM St Joseph West. I was hospitalized in June at this hospital, but I ignored the text as I've never received a bill notification via text before.

On 10/25/21 I received a paper bill from Sound Physicians of Illinois LLC with a Los Angeles, CA .address. There was no itemized services or dates of service, just a total amount. They did have my insurance name and number listed but showed $0 paid by insurance, which was a red flag as my insurance would have paid most of the bill since I'd met my deductible. I logged into my insurance website and there were no claims listed for Sound Physicians of Illinois LLC, so at that point I knew it was a scam. I checked online and found numerous complaints and articles about this company sending out fraudulent health care bills.

Received bill for services not requested or received. Phone number does not work, obviously trying to steal insurance data.
