I was contacted via text message claiming to be from Mrs Maria Selberg of Sortera Group AB. She stated that my resume was seen on Indeed and she thought that I would be an asset to their company as a Data/Admin. I replied and was told to download Telegram contacting their hiring manager @Daniel_Sortera. After a lengthy interview process via IM I was told I was hired. I was emailed the new hire paperwork this morning and was told that I would be receiving a check to purchase the materials needed for the job from their vendors. I have not signed any of the paperwork or given any info other than my name, address, phone number to them. I really hope I am not being scammed.
