This person has an ad on facebook market place a White 4 door 2004 Honda Accord for $500. It is in excellent condition. No dents, rust, scratches, nothing. And that services are all up to date and that she wants to mention that it has never been in an accident. The car belonged to her husband who has recently passed away and she wants to sell it cause she has her own car. And then says she had to move in with her daughter because she had throat surgery and will remain there for a few weeks. She states that EBay has it in there EBay storage and that they will deliver the car to me and I have to go through them because its safer for all of us and she cannot deal with people. After I email Ebay storage that I am buying the car and give them my name and address. And I have to purchase $500 worth of vanilla cards and when I do to give them all the information on the cards. And she also then says the best part is that I will have 5 days to inspect the car and that EBay will not cash the vanilla cards unless I decide to purchase the card. If I decide not to purchase the car, they will give me the money back but if I do purchase the car, they will give her the money on the vanilla cards. I have never heard of an EBay storage before and I have dealt with Ebay for many years. But if I'm wrong then hey I learning something new.

I almost forgot to mention that someone else has this car advertised because they are helping her by posting this on Facebook Market Place and they gave me her name and email information.

I knew this was a total scam as soon as i was directed to a different person and wanting me to purchase vanilla cards??? Well at least it was ITune cards. But I just wanted to let people know NOT to send this person any money. She and if it even is a she which I highly doubt, really tried to pull on my heart strings about her husband passing away and having to live with her daughter for a few weeks because she had throat surgery. She never answered any of my questions either and I honestly think its someone over in like Pakistan or someplace over there in a building with many, many other horrible people. And to do this during this pandemic where so many people have lost their jobs, homes and lives is just the worst kind of human being. Well they really are not human beings if they are doing this to people. And I know a lot of people do end up falling for this scam and lose their money and it might have been the last of their money.

I wish I had more information on this but after I starting asking questions, he or she just stop responding to my emails. So please be careful and not send money, especially gift cards, to anyone saying that's how they accept payments because you will NEVER see whatever you had tried to buy from them and never get your money back. But I do hope what I have wrote here is that people will NOT give into these foriegn scammers anymore.
