Friend is severely depressed and borderline suicidal. She decided a women’s retreat could help clear her woes. Found a bookretreats.com ad for a retreat offered at this Sonoran Winds Women’s Empowerment Center in Tucson, AZ. She registered and paid nearly $3,000; she’s had no contact since, no response to email, the phone number is a NY number for a random woman not connected to the company at all. The website has no contact info and the fb page has bad contact info. How does she file for a refund to hopefully use the money to get the mental health help she needs when whoever she paid is non-contactable? Please help! Any advice for this situation will be greatly appreciated.
