Searching for a recipe for turkey filet,a website with "yummily" in its name came up offering 10 best turkey filet recipes. It asked a bunch of Q's like "with cheese?" and then put up a screen saying, in effect,it would take some time to fill my request. Maybe 10 minutes or more a screen came up saying a porn virus was detected, that I'd downloaded a malware virus on my windows system and to contact Microsoft Windows help desk , 844 446 4040. Pretty soon I was talking to Martin Davis(foreign accent) who told me I could call him any time at 855 979 6447, and that there is no firewall on my network because my warranty had expired, the network is badly infected by hackers, which I could see on a shared screen. Had told the guy that I didn't believe that Microsoft Windows was relevant to my Mac Book, but that screen impressed me To get a new customer ID, tools and software, it would cost $199.99. I charged that on my Visa, then more protections were offered for my lifetime at $1200 plus a couple more figures in the hundreds. Second person, security person of some type, sought to reassure me and gave me the second Tel #, 855 979 6447. I disconnected and called my bank to block my Visa. Called Apple tech and undid the damage, I hope and cautioned me.
