The caller quickly stated that I had been selected to participate in some type of Medicare savings program. Before I could respond, they then asked if I could hear them okay. I said yes before I could think about it. They then asked another question, I don't remember the question but I felt something was off so I hung up. Afterwards, I remembered from some notice that one should never answer yes to questions in an unsolicited call. This same day, I opened up a letter that stated that my credit application had been declined from Samsung Financing Program, except I never applied for credit from Samsung. Later that day, I received another phone call from another entity and the first question I was asked was, can you hear me okay.
