Type of a scam Identity Theft
They said my bank accounts were being hacked. They knew my name, address and phone number.
They asked what bank I used . I said several. They wanted a bank name so they could prevent fraud .
They also said my identity was already stolen and a car was rented in Texas using my name and bank accounts opened in my name.
I told them I could put my account on as alert myself. After pressing for a bank name and not getting it they hung up.
