A woman called to let me know my number was a call back number for the social security scam. She had not fallen for it. Want to report to clear my name and number.  My number was "Spoofed".

I answered the call and pressed one.They said my SS# is being used and since it is being used they are going to cancel the card. Knew it was a scam.

Scammer called with similar number to mine. Recording said there was a discrepancy with my SS#. I hung up because I know social security and IRS do not call you. I called the number and it belonged to as person in my town. The number was spoofed. I called APD and they said to call BBB.

Received a call from someone who said my social security number was being compromised. I was to push 1 for more information. I hung up.

I had about 30 calls in one week from these scammers. Today instead of asking me to contact them they said I had a Social Security investigation. They also called from 806-643-5767. I told them Social Security does not call anyone and they hung up. They call at all hours. One call was at 2:00 am.

Received a call from 719-836-2930 saying that social security benefits are going to be cancelled. I was supposed to call and talk to a representative. I knew better and did not call.

Answered a call from an 806# and they said my account had fraudulent activity. The said a law suit would be filed against me for using my SS# fraudulently. I told them a few things and hung up on them. After that two more calls came through on my home #.

I received call about fraudulent activity on my Social Security number and I should call them back before they start legal proceedings. I get these call 1 -2 times per day for over a year now. I keep blocking them but they come up with new Phone numbers to call back on. This is on my Work Cell phone number.

This number called me Tuesday 11-20-18. It was a recording saying my social security number had been reported stolen and was high risk for to call them back immediately. The call was very staticky and hard to understand. I called the number back and it was still staticky. A man with an foreign accent answered asked for my name and social security number. I hung up on him . I entered the number on White pages .com and it said it was a high risk number.
