The person reached out to ask about an item we have for 25$ on Facebook and we thought it was a legit customer. They asked for her email for the business and our cash app. We tried to process the transaction and got a email from what we thought was cash app saying that the account had an error and needed funds from the person purchasing for 300 plus the 25 to get the transaction to go through we followed instructions which he then requested us to purchase bit coin to send to the person because the funds are on "hold". Then that had a "error" and that we had to try again to have the money be sent with a specific message that you can't even put on it saying that the funds are to be refunded to cash app for it to work and with that they got 600 from us and 300 from the other person, if they were real.

This person worked in conjunction with another scammer I contacted on instagram to have me send funds for a deposit to his Apple Pay for his brother who claimed to be a tattoo artist. He accepted the funds even though he clearly had previous knowledge of his brother doing this before when he stated you’re not the only person who’s told me this since yesterday and then refused to answer refund the sent payments.
